In the last autumn months of 2025, I began to formulate an idea - rooted in my own way of being present in the world. It surfaced again when I wrote the final report for my KUV project SPOR - Mellem Aftryk og Lyd - where it found its place as an insight that had grown out of the project: that all the methods in SPOR rest on the ability to be attentive and open. Bees and Blossoming Trees
The other day I went for a walk in the forest and noticed bees buzzing eagerly around the blossoms on the fruit trees along the path. I came back with a recorder and my new Instruō Pocket Scion — a small device that measures electrical impulses in plants and turns them into sound via an algorithm. What you hear here is a mix of the two recordings.
