About RCR

Robert Cole Rizzi Audio/Visual Artist & Assistant Professor at the Danish National Academy of Music
Artistic Vision & Method
My work exists at the intersection of sound, space, and co-creation. Through site-specific works, I explore how sound can transform and enrich our experience of both familiar and new spaces. My practice is anchored in three core elements:
Site-Specific Sound Art
I work to uncover and emphasize the unique character of places through sound. From historic buildings like Koldinghus to natural areas in Solkær Enge, I create works that engage in dialogue with the architecture, history, and atmosphere of each location.
Co-Creative Processes
Collaboration is central to my practice - both with other artists and local communities. Through participatory projects such as soundwalks and workshops, I invite participants into the artistic process.
Digital and Analog Tools
My approach combines electronic music composition with field recordings and live performance. I work in the space between the planned and the improvised.
