Traces

From the exhibition catalog: In Robert Cole Rizzi's soundscape, sound recordings of the seaplane hangar's own sound, the room's resonance, serve as the fundamental element that conversates with piano compositions and field recordings: Sounds beneath the sea, of swallows, wild roses, waves, thunderstorms, grass, and footsteps in the sand. In the exhibition, the piece played in an infinite loop alongside pinhole camera photographs and cyanotype prints of sand and wind.
